Kabish Kaboom
Two teams stand in a row facing each other at opposite ends of the hall, they decide whether they want to be giants, wizards or goblins between themselves without letting the other team know. They then walk towards each other saying 'Kabish, Kaboom, Kabish, Kaboom, 1, 2, 3' . On 3 they stop and do the appropriate action for whatever they have chosen. It then works like scissors, stone and paper. Giants beat Wizards, Wizards beat Goblins and Goblins beat Giants. Whichever team 'wins' chases the other team and anyone that is caught before they touch the wall that they had just come from joins the team that they were caught by. The game is then repeated until you are left with only a couple on one team.
Actions: 'Kabish, Kaboom' - night fever type action in time with the words. '1, 2, 3' - three paces forward. 'Giant' - arms stretched up above head. 'Wizard' - arms out straight in front of you waving fingers (casting a spell). 'Goblin' - crouching down.

ADDITIONAL GAMES FROM TRAINING SESSION OCTOBER 2009
Lifeboat
Using a length of rope, or a shape cut from a large piece of paper, create a “lifeboat” outline on the floor. All the players have to stand inside the shape. Any who fall out are eaten by sharks.
Gradually make the shape smaller, until only one player is left in the boat.
Find the parcel
Players stand in a circle, facing in and very close together, with one player inside the circle. An object is passed around the outside of the circle from hand to hand, and the player standing in the middle has three attempts at guessing where it is (i.e. which player is holding it).
Corners
Number the four corners of the room. The leader shuts her eyes, or turns away. The other players each choose a corner and go there. The leader calls out one of the numbers, and all the players in that corner are out. Repeat until only one or two players are in.
Pass da pasta
Players have to transfer pieces of pasta, using a straw, from one plate to another. The plates can be near each other or far apart. This also works with other things, e.g. Smarties.
Untangle
Everybody stands in a circle. Each player puts in her right hand and grabs someone else’s. Then each player puts in her left hand and grabs a different someone else’s. The group now uses team work to untangle themselves into one or more circles. WITHOUT LETTING GO!
Splat
Again in a circle, with one player in the middle (Let’s call her the splatterer). The splatterer points her clasped hands at one player and shouts “Splat!”. That player must duck down, and the players either side of her “splat” each other.
If the player doesn’t duck, she is out. Otherwise, the second of the two either side to shout “Splat!” is out. This continues until only two players are left.
They stand back to back in the centre of the circle. They agree a code word – e.g. sausage – the splatterer calls out a series of words which are not the code word. At each word, the players in the middle take one step away from each other. When the splatterer calls out the code word, they turn round and splat each other. The first to shout “Splat!” wins, and takes her turn in the centre of the circle as splatterer.
